The Best Fair Skin Makeup Routine

Hey there! If you have found this post then you’re likely tired of trying to figure out how to make your fair-skin shine (but in a good way!) While I totally understand that every skin-tone has it’s own range of issues when it comes to makeup (especially women of color due to limited options in the beauty industry) I will be discussing the “issues” surrounding fair skin. Fair Skin Makeup Routine Gone Wrong

So again, to all my fair-skinned beauties out there- I get it. I know how it looks and feels when your makeup is just off. It’s hard to feel confident when you know your makeup is sabotaging you! And yes, I know we can just go makeup-free but it’s okay to want to wear makeup too. So here’s a few signs that your fair skin makeup routine isn’t working:

  • your face/jaw has a line of color that doesn’t match or blend into your neck

  • your makeup looks fine in the bathroom mirror but awful outside/in natural light

  • your makeup separates or looks dry shortly after applying

  • you aren’t getting the coverage you need without going too dark

  • you look pale or washed out and adding blush doesn’t help

  • your bronzer and/or contour look orange

  • your foundation looks slightly pink or yellow
