Welcome to my blog! I live for simplicity yet I strive to be bold.
Hey there! If you have found this post then you’re likely tired of trying to figure out how to make your fair-skin shine (but in a good way!) While I totally understand that every skin-tone has it’s own range of issues when it comes to makeup (especially women of color due to limited options in the beauty industry) I will be discussing the “issues” surrounding fair skin. I myself am very fair and am usually the second to lightest foundation shades at the drugstore. I spent a lot of years not liking my skin and hating my makeup. It took a lot of trial and error and finding the right products before I felt truly confident in my skin and in my makeup. So today, I want to share with you a few tips and tricks and how to do the best fair skin makeup routine!
So again, to all my fair-skinned beauties out there- I get it. I know how it looks and feels when your makeup is just off. It’s hard to feel confident when you know your makeup is sabotaging you! And yes, I know we can just go makeup-free but it’s okay to want to wear makeup too. So here’s a few signs that your fair skin makeup routine isn’t working:
your face/jaw has a line of color that doesn’t match or blend into your neck
your makeup looks fine in the bathroom mirror but awful outside/in natural light
your makeup separates or looks dry shortly after applying
you aren’t getting the coverage you need without going too dark
you look pale or washed out and adding blush doesn’t help
your bronzer and/or contour look orange
your foundation looks slightly pink or yellow
