Spring Makeup Capsule 2021
I bet you are here because you're like me- loves makeup but hates having a ton of random products all over the place and having way too many pallettes and shades to choose from sooo basically it quickly makes doing your makeup way less fun and more like a chore. And trust me, makeup does not need to be a time consuming chore scattered with products you don't use. This is where a makeup capsule comes in and today, I've got the spring editon to share with you! (Best part is you can completely customize/change everything I'm about to show you!) So let's jump in!
First up, everything in my capsule is inside of this amazing double layer compact! I love that it keeps my powders and creams separate and I can easily swap out any shades I want or replace when one runs out- it's freaking genius!! In the top layer I have all of my creams/all my face stuff which includes highlight (foundation), contour, bronzer, and blush+lip. The highlight and contour will be different for you of course- if you need a shade match, take my quiz here! For me, I wear White Peach as my main shade and use Moonlit to brighten, Ash for my contour.
I decided to include the Bella bronzer in the spring capsule because it helps bridge that gap between my pale winter skin and getting some color again! Haha and I like the natural sunkissed look it gives. For the blush+lip, I went with Summer Love and Desert Sunset. These shades are so pretty and the perfect light-medium pinks for spring. (Honestly I was really torn on swapping out Desert Sunset for either Tropicana or Frenchie- those are more peachy and also so pretty) But again, you can customize it to what you like!
And that's it for the top layer! Seriously everything you need for a complete look in one place- I can't get over it. Okay so now the second layer, which I have filled with eyeshadow (and a powder illuminator!) but if you're not a big fan of eyeshadow or don't need any, then go ahead and fill the bottom with more blush+lip shades or even the solid perfumes! This lineup of eyeshadows is the perfect spring palette for simple everyday eye looks and even date night looks! The names are on the photo below!
And… KABLAAMO. All my makeup in one compact that can fit in my hand (and can we give an honorable mention at how pretty it looks on my counter?) Okay so now to finish off my spring makeup capsule, I have two brushes which are the Detail and Blend brush (see them in the second photo of this post). These brushes are super versatile and so damn soft! They are great for light to medium coverage. (Not included but one I also use everyday is the Eyeshadow brush)
