My Fav Products From Grove Co. (not-sponsored)
*Before I start this post, I want to clarify that this post is NOT at all sponsored. I have not been paid for anything and all products were purchased by me. These reviews are my own. I do however have a “friend” link that I will share if you want to shop with it, you will get a free gift and I will get a reward for my next purchase. But again, I have not been paid and will not be paid for this article!*
I discovered Grove Co back in 2019 and was instantly drawn to the simple, minimalist approach from the company and that everything was affordable! I've always been hesitant to switch to more “natural” products because their usually expensive. With Grove however, I find that I'm usually only paying a dollar or two more but I'm also getting the convenience of all my home and personal products being shipped straight to my home! (Especially when the pandemic started, it was great to have this set up!)
Grove Co has nearly every home and personal care product you could need! (Kids and pets stuff too) They have their in-house brand as well as some popular ones you would also find in Target and the like. While I don't get everything from them, there are a few products I have fallen in love with and will continue to order through them! So today I'm sharing with you my top 5 favorite products from Grove Collaborative.
Method Wood Floor Cleaner
We have all natural hardwood floors in our home and I love this stuff for keeping them clean and cared for! I like that the scent is simple and not overpowering. I also like the squirt bottle instead of filling up a bucket of cleaner and feeling like I am eventually just cleaning with dirty water haha. I don't feel like you have to use a lot and I like that my floors look clean but don't look super glossy and aren't slippery after. I guess some people prefer that but I don't.
Grove Co Recycled Trash Bags
I really just got these because I loved that they were made with 100% recycled plastic. But then I also learned that every purchase of these goes towards a fund to support cleaning up rivers. And THEN I could see that they were super great quality too (don't rip or leak) so yeah… pretty sure these are the best trash bags out there as far as your standard plastic ones. Oh and I love that they come just like this below, no extra packaging or waste!
Rooted Beauty facial cleanser
I have tried a few different cleansers and just wasn't content with any of them. So I actually got this one for free in one of my orders one time. (Yeah Grove occasionally gives you free gifts just for being a customer-how great is that!) So I figured what the heck, I'll try it. And yep I loved it!
I like that it's super gentle, has clean ingredients and a subtle scent(no artificial fragrance though!) It's a gel type of cleanser which I know some don't like but I do, and I feel like my skin really does look and feel clean afterwards. Also, this packaging is 82% recycled! I use the sensitive one but they have a regular option too.
Dish and Hand Soap Refills
Okay another product that has blown my mind!! So I have their glass containers too (shown below) and they have silicone sleeves so they don't slide around or tip over. That way I can use refills and these ones specifically come in aluminum cans. Like what!! I just love that it's another way for me to cut down my plastic waste.
Both the hand and dish soap is great and I love the lemon and the fresh scents. I don't feel like my hands feel dry or greasy after using them. So not only is this an eco-friendly choice, they really are great products and super affordable too.
Wool Dryer Balls
Okay I know you can get these from tons of places but these are the first ones I bought and I have really enjoyed them! They really work to reduce static and make your clothes softer. I do wish they cut dry time but mine don't seem to. (Note that I have a pretty old dryer though haha) Anyways, I did also like the price of these and again it cuts waste by not using dryer sheets.
And that's it! I do occasionally order other things from them like toothpaste and cleaning sponges but these items above really are my favorite. I signed up to be a VIP and thought it was worth it. It costs $20 a year and it gets you discounts, early access, free gifts, and free shipping! You aren't required to do an auto ship which I appreciate. (Although they will suggest going on it and sometimes fill your cart for you-you will get several emails warning you before your order is placed.) If you make more than 4 orders a year, I think it's totally worth it.
If you'd like to check out Grove and get more natural products and reduce your waste then click here! Again this link doesn't pay me directly. Using it will get you a free cleaning kit (I got one and it was great!) and I will receive a $10 credit to shop the site.
I hope this post was helpful if you've been considering shopping with Grove Collaborative. I really do love what they are trying to do in reducing waste and making natural products more accessible!
